WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?

Acupuncture, according to the diagnostic rules of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a traditional treatment method performed by inserting needles into certain points on the body or using other methods equivalent to it. While the Chinese defined acupuncture with the words ‘Chen-Chin’ meaning needle and heat, the name ‘acupuncture’ was used in Latin by combining the words acus (needle) and punctura (plunge).
Acupuncture is a kind of balance therapy that provides the balance of “blood” and “soul” circulation in the human body, but also works by triggering the body’s self-healing mechanism. In Chinese Medicine this is expressed as Yin and Yang. YIN: Black, night, dark, feminine, inner, moisture, cold, winter, water, etc. YANG: White, daytime, bright, masculine, outer, dryness, hot, summer, fire, etc. is expressed as. That is to say, the balance of opposites. According to Chinese Medicine, there are 12 meridians in the body and there are dozens of points in these meridians. In case of blockage, lack of energy or excess of energy in any meridian, the balance is disturbed. Acupuncture regulates this imbalance in the body.
In acupuncture, the patient is handled holistically, while in Western medicine only symptomatic treatment is applied. Another advantage of acupuncture is that it has no side effects and does not harm the patient. Generally, 2-3 sessions per week, and in acute cases, treatment can be applied every day. The course of treatment may last 6-8 weeks or until the patient recovers.

TYPES OF ACUPUNCTURE?

YNSA (NEW GENERATION SCALP ACUPUNCTURE) ACUPUNCTURE

Japanese doctor Toshikatsu Yamamoto discovered scalp acupuncture in the early 1960s. Doctor Yamamoto identified sensitive points A, B, C, D and E on the head in the treatment of pain and motor disorders in his patients. Later, he found the sensory, brain and ipsilon points. Yamamoto dealt with the body holistically. took it and discovered that there was a microsystem in the head. If there is a problem in the foot of the patient, this problem is reflected (reflection) in the head. Since the body is a holistic structure, only symptom-oriented treatment does not treat the root of the problem, so Yamamoto finds the diagnosis areas.

WHAT IS A MICROSYSTEM?

Representation of the whole system of the body in a small area is called a microsystem. Each microsystem manifests neurological reflexes associated with parts of the body far from its anatomical localization. These reflexes are both diagnostic and therapeutic. These are acupuncture needles, massage, hot application, etc. activated by apps.

WHAT IS YAMAMOTO SCALP ACUPUNCTURE?

It is a method of acupuncture of the scalp that uses certain points located specifically on the head. Many diseases were treated and pain was relieved by using YNSA. Yamamoto Scalp acupuncture is completely different from Chinese Acupuncture, its effect is more and faster. While Chinese head acupuncture is used only for neurological problems, YNSA is successfully used for neurological, musculoskeletal, internal organs and fascia problems.

SCALP ACUPUNCTURE MICROSYSTEM

If any pathology occurs in the body, a polaritarian energy blockage occurs and the connected point on the head is reflected. Microsystem points are associated with the neurological reflex pattern. The microsystem reflex map of the body represents the anatomical arrangement of the whole body. The representation of the area or map of the body is called a somatotope. The somatotope of YNSA is represented ipsilaterally, that is, on the same side. Ying and yang points on the head are used in the treatment. The general YNSA protocol is valid in all diseases. The tender point on the head cannot be palpated in non-ill people. It is applied for 25-30 minutes with acupuncture needles to the sensitive points that are palpated on the head. Usually, results are obtained in the first session, and the application can be continued until the disease subsides.

EAR ACUPUNCTURE (AURICULOTHERAPY)

In addition to body acupuncture practiced in traditional Chinese medicine, ear acupuncture has been in the service of health for thousands of years. Auricular acupuncture is a clinical diagnosis and treatment method. French Dr. Auricular acupuncture, developed by P. Nogier, is the most widely used method in the West. With this method, it is possible to diagnose and treat in the light of western knowledge. Auriculotherapy, inspired by Chinese Acupuncture, developed in 1958 after Paul Nogier’s article on auriculotherapy was translated into Chinese. Ear acupuncture is used in the ear microsystem using needles, as in traditional Chinese acupuncture. The ear microsystem, which can be defined as the representation of the whole body in a smaller area, finds its true counterpart.
